Reinhardt von Bergen-Wedemeyer
Reinhardt von Bergen-Wedemeyer grew up in Bautzen and participated in several long-range route hikes through the hills of upper Lusatia when he was young. He enjoyed being outside and experience nature.
After his civil service in a social establishment in Dresden his talent for the quick solution of problems by improvisation led him to organise exhibitions throughout Germany, e.g. in the German hygiene museum and the Expo 2000 in Hanover. Besides this, he kept on travelling constantly to Romania and participated in the summer camps as an organiser. He’s been the administrator in the cultural area for 3 years now; he’s pulling the strings of TrailSylvania.
Fabian Jacobs,
Born in 1977 in Dresden and grown up in Bautzen. Educated in Leipzig to be an ethnologist, he’s doing a doctors degree about the Gábor, a Roma/ gypsy group in Transylvania. That’s why he’s especially interested in the multicultural history of Transylvania, the politics of minorities and “(tsiganologischen”)…”subjects in general, which he can prepare as extending seminars on educational trips. Besides his field studies he’s been travelling to Transylvania for many years, even as an organiser and referee at youth exchange programs, social projects as well as hiking- and seminar trips.
Peter Großmann,
Born in year 1977, he has been a dedicated hiker and ranger since he was a child. He’s working voluntarily for the Romanian initiative group in Bautzen and is living in Cristuru Secuiesc in the “Szekler”-area, the Hungarian speaking part of Transylvania. In the region of Schäßburg, along the big Kokel (Hungarian Nagy Kükülö) he feels at home and guides groups and single travellers through this beautiful cultivated landscape. He’s especially interested in the Hungarian-Saxon- Transylvanian history and way of life.
Ciprian Moruzan,
Born in year 1975 in Brasov, P.E. teacher and mountain guide. He’s an expert for the southern Carpathians and an experienced mountain guide for groups of different ages.
Additionally he’s a teacher snowboard and ski as well as an experienced clamberer. Gladly and reliably he leads smaller or bigger groups through the Romanian mountains. He arranges his tours according to the physical condition of his participants and even offers equipments if necessary.
Noémi Gál
She’s
Romanian with Hungarian nationality, born in year 1986 in Mediaş and grown
up in Târgu Mureş.
For many years she has assisted international youth exchanges and encounters
in Romania as a translator and organiser. For one year she has attended
a voluntarily social year in the area of politics in Pirna/Dresden, where
she got involved with programs against right-wing-extremism and racism
with the “Aktion Zivilcourage”, an association for moral courage. After
this year of interesting experience, she went back to Romania in order
to study international relations/ European studies in Cluj Napoca. She
loves variety, the exchange and the attendance of different people throughout
her beautiful country.
Rüdiger Steinke,
Born in year 1964, graduated pedagogue for religion and social work, already travelled
through Romania during the Ceausescu- times and has been the initiator of many social
projects since 1990. Since 1993 he has been organising and accompanying different intercultural
youth-and adventure projects as well as hiking-and seminar trips for seniors.
